Walk With Me
At Connection Catalyst, we offer guided forest bathing experiences - mindful, nature-immersive walks inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku. These aren’t hikes. They’re slow, intentional journeys that invite you to bathe your senses in the sights, sounds, smells, and textures of the natural world.
Why try forest bathing?
Because slowing down outside can actually help you move forward inside. Our guided walks are designed to help you:
Release stress and restore calm. Spending time in nature reduces cortisol levels, lowers blood pressure, and helps quiet the mental noise.
Reignite clarity and creativity. Slowing down your pace makes space for new ideas, deeper insights, and that ahamoment you didn’t know you were waiting for.
Reconnect with yourself and others. In a world full of distractions, forest bathing brings you back to what matters—presence, purpose, and authentic connection.

A Walk in the Woods, A Shift in Perspective
“I would never have predicted how Chris could transform my approach to work in just one hour—but she did! Chris’ unparalleled ability to listen to my needs and craft a personalized experience brought me much more than a connection to nature; she helped me connect my thoughts and unlock goals I had not articulated before our walk. The clarity I found led to a daily focus on bringing nature into my workflow, and my focus and productivity are stronger than ever.” — Stephanie, Managing Partner, Protos Learning
Who Are They For?
Our nature walks are for anyone. Enjoy solo rejuvenation, team building, or group nature connection. We customize forest bathing walks to your needs – one-time escape or ongoing practice. Whether you’re looking to recharge and unwind once, or to make nature connection a regular part of your presence practice, we can customize a walk that fits your goals.
What Should I Expect?
You pause. You notice. You breathe. You listen.
Expect a slow, peaceful, immersive walk – in green spaces, parks, or by water – with mindful activities to deepen your connection.
You might feel the rough bark of a tree or the softness of moss. Watch sunlight dance through leaves. Follow the sound of birdsong or the wind weaving through branches.
Each walk includes guided invitations to engage your senses and connect more deeply - with nature, with yourself, and with the present moment.
Walks typically last between 1-3 hours and can be customized for you or your group.
Do I Need a Guide?
While you can walk in nature on your own, a guided nature walk offers a deeper and more intentional experience. Our guides help you unwind, focus, and connect with nature more deeply than you could on your own.

In-Person Guided Walks
Private forest bathing sessions give you the chance to slow down on your terms - at a time and in a location that works for you. You can book a one-on-one session, or gather a small group of friends, co-workers, family, or anyone you'd love to share this meaningful experience with.
Whether you're seeking rest, clarity, renewal, or just a pause from the relentless pace of life, this is your invitation to exhale... and simply be.
I currently offer sessions in beautiful natural spaces across Harford, Cecil, and Baltimore County in Maryland.

FAQs
-
If the forest is calling from a little farther away - I’m game. I love guiding walks in new places and can travel to:
Washington, DC
Northern Virginia
Delaware
Southeastern Pennsylvania
These are easy drive-to locations for me, and I do my best to keep travel fees reasonable for sessions in these areas.
-
Absolutely! I'm available to be booked for private or group sessions outside this region—whether it's across the state or across the country. If you're hosting a retreat, company offsite, or community event and want to bring a forest bathing experience into the mix, I’d love to talk. Travel and lodging would be arranged as part of the agreement, and I’m happy to co-create something unique for your group.
Let’s bring nature connection wherever it’s needed.
-
Dress in comfortable clothes and layers. You will be outside the entire time. Closed-toe shoes that are comfortable and sturdy are required. You’ll be walking on uneven terrain and you may be walking near rivers or lakes. If it has rained recently, it may be wet and slightly muddy.
-
The walk will only be cancelled in the case of dangerous or severe weather - such as lightning, hail, high winds, or heavy rain or snow. If cancellation is necessary, you’ll receive an email or text notification the morning of the event.
In most cases, though, we’ll walk in light rain or mist - nature doesn’t mind a little weather, and sometimes those are the most magical walks of all.
How you are contacted for cancellations will be shared once you book your walk.
