About Chris
I believe that by slowing down, we honor the most important relationship: the one with ourselves. Something that took me decades to understand…
You're caught in a world that constantly demands more…more doing, more achieving, more busyness. On the outside, it looks like success. But inside? You crave space to just be.
Does this sound familiar?
Your best ideas emerge in moments of pause, but finding that stillness feels impossible.
You're the go-to person for everyone else, while your own needs stay at the bottom of the list.
Your creativity is starving for space that never makes it onto your to-do list.
And while you're always chasing what's next, this moment passes by unnoticed.
I know this feeling intimately because I've lived it. For years, I wore my busyness like a badge of honor - I was the go-to person, the one who got things done. And after 20+ years in corporate life, I was caught in the cycle of constant doing; successful on paper but craving something more. That vibrant, fully alive version of me always felt just out of reach - the one at ease in her own skin, the one who wasn’t always chasing.
Then something shifted.
I discovered that the "more" I had been searching for wasn't about doing more at all. It was waiting for me in the quiet - in the moments when I finally slowed down and let myself just be.
It started with intentional solo retreats in nature, quiet moments coloring between meetings, and meditation practices that helped me find stillness. Then came a breast cancer diagnosis, which didn’t just slow me down…it forced me to reevaluate everything. These experiences showed me that slowing down was exactly what I needed.
In those pauses, I discovered something profound: creating space wasn't about stopping; it was about finally allowing myself to truly be. And once I reconnected with myself, everything else transformed. Those simple coloring moments became so transformative that I eventually created Color Me Unplugged - a way to share this accessible path to calm with others who need it too.
I believe that by slowing down, we honor the most important relationship: the one with ourselves. Whether you need time to reconnect for clarity, inspiration, or simply to remember who you are, this pause is not selfish or falling behind. It is a powerful step forward.
Now, I guide busy professionals who are doing important work but crave more calm, clarity, creativity, and authentic self-connection. Together, we break free from the cycle of endless doing and create the space to reconnect with what’s most important to you.
Imagine this:
The world softens. The noise quiets. And suddenly, you’re not just existing — you’re settled, centered, and truly yourself.
Because when you finally slow down, everything changes. The clarity, creativity, calm, and deep self-connection you've been searching for will emerge naturally.
If you're ready to discover how slowing down can be your most powerful step forward, let's connect.
